Hospital & Hotel Deliveries Policy
Deliveries to hospitals and hotels are NOT RECOMMENDED. Since their
deliveries normally go to a general receiving department and then get
routed to the recipient’s room, we do not guarantee these deliveries.
Sorry, no refunds will be given should you decide to ship to these types of
locations. Therefore if you place your order with a hospital or hotel
delivery address, we will assume you have taken all this into account.
Instead of a hospital delivery, we highly recommend that you ship to either
a nearby family member if possible or to the patient’s home address.
Be Gifting Baskets will make every effort to deliver products as presented
on our website. Occasionally, an item you choose may become unavailable and
it may be necessary to substitute that item with an item that is of equal
or higher value. Be Gifting Baskets will not be required to inform a
customer that a substitution was necessary. During the hot summer months
all chocolate and melting items will be substituted with non-melting items.
We are unable to accept cancellations of orders as we begin processing them
immediately upon receipt.
Most of our products are perishable and therefore cannot be returned and
will only be replaced or refunded if they arrive damaged thru the shipping
items can be returned at your expense after contacting us and obtaining an
RAN (return authorization number). You must notify Be Gifting Baskets
within 2 business days of delivery (day package is received is day one). The non-perishable approved item must be returned to us within 14 days of
delivery along with the RAN, in the original packaging and unopened. Unauthorized returns, refused shipments or non-delivered packages will be
discarded and no refunds will be issued. Shipping and Handling fees are
non-refundable. Any returns using our UPS account will be charged to your
card. Please return the package at your expense to avoid this additional
fee. No exceptions.
Be Gifting Baskets is held to the rules and guidelines set forth by the
Should a package be damaged in shipping, you must retain all packaging, as
it may be required by the carrier and/or Be Gifting Baskets for
verification of damages. If you dispose of the packaging prior to
inspection or if you cannot provide photo proof (if requested), no refund
or replacement will be honored. You must notify Be Gifting Baskets of
package damage within 2 business days of delivery (day package is received
is day one).
Be Gifting Baskets will initiate a claim with the carrier. If the claim is
approved and paid by the carrier, we will reimburse you the amount you paid
Be Gifting Baskets including original shipping costs. Normal processing
time takes up to 8 weeks.
Melted chocolate is not considered damaged product.
Chocolate will melt in the heat and will not be guaranteed, replaced or
refunded and is not considered "damaged". All chocolate gifts and
candy bouquets will be shipped as ordered. Small chocolate pieces found
inside other gifts will be substituted during the warmer summer months
(April - September).
